London Buses route 452 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Wandsworth Road and Kensal Rise stations, it is operated by Abellio London. ==History== Route 452 was introduced on 2 December 2006 in preparation for the extension of the Congestion Charging Western Extension. It was designed to provide relief on routes 137 and 52.〔(Buses increased after congestion extension ) ''BBC London'' 〕 The route was initially operated by Travel London with Dennis Trident 2s until new Alexander Dennis Enviro400s were delivered in early 2007.〔(Bus tender results Route 452 ) Transport for London 3 May 2006〕 Route 452 was included in the sale of Travel London to Abellio London in May 2009.〔(National Express Group plc agreement to sell Travel London ) National Express Group 21 May 2009〕〔(NedRailways acquisition reinforces long term commitment to UK transport market ) NedRailways 9 June 2009〕 There has been debate as to whether route 452 has yet reached its full potential as a north to south bus route - particularly due to the choice of terminating stops, with low rates of usage reported along the final stretches of the route. The southern terminus, at the little-used Wandsworth Road station and in an area with a relatively low population density, means there is only limited potential for connections to other bus routes or modes of transport. Although route 452 was introduced in connection with the Western extension of the congestion charging zone, Transport for London maintained the route following the removal of the Western extension at the end of 2010. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「London Buses route 452」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
